From Justin Roland, creator of Rick and Morty. It's basically Rick and Morty meets Family Guy, with a lot of Hulu product placement embedded in the show. It's not Rick and Morty good, and not recent seasons Family Guy bad. Hulu's put up all 8 episodes of the first season. It's an entertaining way to kill four hours, even if nothing much sticks with you from the show.
It kind of reminds of what American Dad was to Family Guy. It's its own thing, but with a distinct feel of being Rick and Morty-ish. Episode 7 was incredible. First episode or two was rough, but it really grew on me. It has a much more sitcom-y feel, but it works. I love Rick and Morty, and I'm glad that Justin Roiland is doing more stuff.
Season two has dropped. So far, it’s not quite as strong as the first season but I’m only two episodes in.
