Gary Busey has a show on Amazon Prime where he serves as a judge for cases involving disputes over pets. The premise claims that these are real people with real disputes, but it's very evident that the parties are actors (some better than others). It seems like there is rough script or outline for each case, and the actors improvise most of it. Here's a brief clip: However, based on the two episodes I've seen, I'm pretty sure that everyone except Gary Busey is in on the joke. Busey seems to be taking it seriously, almost as if he was told he was actually adjudicating these disputes. Good acting, or was he left out of the joke?
Fun fact: The reason "Life With Busey" was canceled was because Gary and the other dude on the show admitted that they staged the whole thing. This ain't gonna be any different.
