couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch of folks! Iran's largest warship catches fire, sinks in Gulf of Oman (apnews.com)
Takes notes for the appropriate way to respond the next time a bunch of US troops are injured in an accident.
no injuries - everyone was evacuated safely. If it was a deliberate attack it's textbook perfect: destroy the enemy's capability to wage war with maximum damage and minimal casualties on either side.
Yes I stand corrected - but no casualties so that's good. Hopefully the injuries aren't too serious. But if it was some type of preventable accident heads are gonna roll - possibly literally!
It's a shame no soldiers died, because the death of any country's military personnel is an extra breath of life for the innocent they are sworn to destroy.
Primaris... fucking fancy new boys. Back in the day, we had to take down the Hordes of Chaos with a bolter that looked like an AK-47 fucked a plain cardboard box, a combat knife that looked like a normal human could wield it one-handed and our glorious, glorious BEAKS!!! We pecked their fucking eyes out, so we did. All 18 of them per model.
I've still got some beakies hidden away somewhere from the 30 man box set, although nowadays you're only allowed to paint them Raven Guard because the Heresy. The Primaris models are gorgeous though.
Not gorgeous enough to part with any cash into GW's pocket. I got back into WH40K briefly when I discovered I could 3D print vehicles for a fraction of what Forge World charges. One of my biggest projects remains a Thunderhawk, though sadly it recently suffered major battle damage (I knocked my Eaglemoss Reliant model of the shelf onto it - that fucker is ALWAYS the one that gets knocked down and snaps off the rollbar which is a bastard to glue back on) and the right wing and landing gear came off. They're a bugger to re-glue due to the weight so I've just propped them up with a Rhino.
