I didn't like how they ended the last season, even if the cast forced their hand with their behavior. It seemed so tacked-on and anti-climactic. They should have just recast the role.
The first episode dropped. Not a whole lot going on, just an update on what everyone is up to. There’s a little bit of a time jump. Fillip doesn’t seem to happy with the way things have turned out.
They had me thinking Fillip was going to flip sides, but nope. Fillip finding out about the warhead must mean that he doesn't care that someone disarmed it and now he's just doubling down on his hate. Good to know that people are still listening to Hank williams in the future.
Well it’s over, for now. There were a lot of good battles and the ending was about as satisfying as you can get with such a short season, but they really needed at least two or three more episodes to complete the ring planet story. Either that or they should have just jettisoned that story line all together and just focused on the main story. I’m glad everyone survived, I thought for sure Amos wasn’t going to make it. Marcos death was kind of underwhelming, I was hoping Naomi or Drummer would personally take him out, but at least it was Naomi’s plan that worked. I’m also glad to see that Fillip made it out on time and at least there’s a possibility that he can reunite with Naomi. I loved Holden’s decision at the end, the belt finally gets representation. Drummer sacrificed so much and went through hell, good to see she got a happy ending for the most part. Overall, excellent show, the ending felt rushed and I know there’s more to the story so hopefully Amazon will treat us with a TV movie or something. If not, then this is about as satisfying of an ending it’s going to get.
The last (for now) season of this masterpiece (alac and alas!) and apparently no discussion thereof? At least insofar as a search turned up. Random thoughts for discussion: Marco had a very fine hammed up villain performance which I enjoyed Cammina Drummer RULES Amos never gets old, love that guy. I saw the names, but I didn’t pay much attention to them. I assumed it was in show people, cool to see that they were Easter eggs.
