A podcast is audio. You can't watch audio (unless you're sound engineer and like watching wavy lines). You're thinking of a video podcast or vodcast, which you'll notice is a different term.

I can see how Rogan appeals to the MMA/marginally employed/gamer bro segment of society. But in the few times I’ve heard him he just doesn’t come across as that bright. There are better uses of one’s time.

Rogan often says he's just a dumb monkey that doesn't know much so his audience is aware that he's no genius.

There's an old saying, "If you're the smartest guy in the room, you're in the wrong room!" If folks are listening to Rogan because they think that he's an equal or that they're smarter than him, then they shouldn't be listening to him.
