I can't see him even trying to be emotionally abusive. But, like many people I know in real life, if they don't like the way someone says something, even if they agree with what is said, then they assume the person is wrong. When you say someone is better than that you are really using the backhand insult. I also thought she was smarter than that, but I was wrong. So I just changed my opinion. There was a bit of surprise, but I have seen enough women (and men) chase down people who abuse them to know they are not better than that in their own head. No person in the world gets told someone thought they were better than that, and then looks at themselves and their idiocy and wakes the fuck up. They just get insulted.

The only thing I will add is a strong woman who is secure in herself (or a man) does not lose their fucking shit because someone on the internet doesn't like whos cock they are attached to. The recognition of her shame is as obvious as as the expression of some cutter who accidentally hits a vein and realizes they need medical help because suicide just got way too real for them.
