Reading about the case the judge was not allowing the trans panic defense, but that does not matter because there is nothing to contradict self defense. I do not know for sure. I would say it is far more likely that if you found a case where that happened the supposed victim is lying because they knew. Even in this case, he knew there was a dick there that wasn't his. Something else happened and he was about to be exposed for liking chicks with dicks.

What is more likely? Minnesota comedy club cancels Chappelle show last minute (CNN reporting)

1. What the fuck kind of venue management sells out a show, then cancels last minute? Completely unprofessional and horrible to consumers. It's not like the Chapelle controversy was a surprise.

2. The controversy is only going to help Chapelle, who will go on to sell out shows elsewhere, and use the MN thing in his act.

The workers for First Avenue went on strike, refusing to work for Chapelle's act, and they did it well before the show was scheduled to start. The management pushed anyway, and then when the workers won that stare down, management had Chapelle booked at Varsity, and they (management) went and saw the performance themselves. Dave's just fine. Yeah, he'll use this as ammo, but then when hasn't bigots used people rejecting their bigotry as people silencing them? The people who like Chapelle will approve, and like him more. It's the same reason Trump became more popular, was because people liked that he hurt others, they liked that he was sticking it to those politically correct moralists. Chapelle's crowd, in general, has the same mindset.

Dave is certainly suffering for his change up in comedy from cracking jokes to warring with twittards on stage. Netflix may have used him for advertising, but he was surprisingly absent from their Netflix is a joke specials despite performing and being almost stabbed for it.

Saying he was cancelled is another lie. He was moved to an appropriate venue. Some places might not want to host your shit when you are a rabid hater. Welcome to the world of prejudice Dave. I figured dave might understand prejudice given his past comedy, but I guess not. Some venues might not want to host bigots as they tend to stink up the place.
