Sitting on a patio in Gatlinburg, having some beers and listening to live music. He's enjoying the weather and music
I was searching for a different photo on my phone the other day and found this one that I didn’t realize I’d taken at a show in July. Looks pretty cool, like I did it on purpose.
It’s been weeks since I cooked anything. I really enjoy it but not enough to do it for money. I’ve done that before and it takes all the fun out of it for me because I’m not wired that way. My hat’s off to people like @Bill Carson and my future son in law.
I'm the same way, there's a few things that I do pretty well. One of them is cooking, but if I do it for money it ruins the enjoyment I get out of it.
I'm a pretty decent cook and an above average photographer, so even when the food doesn't turn out like I want (that ribeye, for example, wasn't as tender as it should've been--a letdown from a meat market that has served me well until today ) at least it looks good.
I used to hate it. For the longest time it was just a job, but after a while I was allowed to branch out and do my own thing and I got really good at what I do. It's a point of pride for me. After a while it became fun. It also is a good way forget about life for a while.
after about 15 years of kitchens and catering, a buddy got into craft service cooking for film sets. hours are a little nuts, but the money is stupid good. google them and send in a resume... nothing to lose
My wife and I in Alesund, Norway for our 25th wedding anniversary. We saw the northern lights later that night.
My little buddy waiting on Thanksgiving dinner. My little buddy after eating his Thanksgiving dinner. Pure bliss. He really knows how to play you.
