She kept going at Dolly for her marriage (apparently it was open?) but in the end Dolly and her husband are still together half a century later whereas Barbara was a four time divorcée.
The rumors surrounding Dolly's marriage are that Dolly's more inclined to play for the other team, IYKWIM, than the home team. One of her siblings is supposedly not very closeted (meaning the media doesn't really talk about it, but everybody who's around that sibling knows for certain that they're gay). Some aspects of Bab's career are understandable, given the times. Other parts aren't so much. After all, she dated Henry Kissinger for a while. I can see being nice to him professionally because you want to keep access to important people, but she apparently let him put his penis in her long after she was an icon. Ick!
