At some point you'd think prosecutors would realize they're just . If I was on the jury and you somehow proved that he pulled the trigger, that's still a long way from convincing me that Baldwin somehow was responsible after his armorer handed him the gun and told him it was "cold". Does hiring an incompetent armorer make him guilty? I'm not sure. You might get somewhere if you can show that he knew the armorer was unqualified/incompetent and hired her, or allowed her to be hired anyway, but if someone lies about their qualifications, exaggerates their qualifications or someone lies on their behalf, whaddayagonnado?

If I know you are drunk and hand you the keys to the car and you drive and kill someone I have responsibility in that. If you can prove that he was aware of people fucking around with the gun and he knew she was not doing her jod right, then maybe.

I would say that would be very hard to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt, but I do not know what evidence is there.

This may be involuntary manslaughter due to other people's involvement which I could see being a rather tough pill to swallow for her. She is the safety person, and she is one of the people who should face the penalties for not securing the ammo and gun. However, if someone else was responsible fior circumventing her rules and security, or a5t least involved in the bullet getting mixed in, then they should share the punishment with her.

I do not know what the situation was.

I have been responsible for firearms that could cause injury before. If a player mixed a marble into their paintrball gun and shot someone in the goggles they could lose their eyesight and there would be a possibility of death resulting from that sort of injury. As the person respo0nsible for safety I migyhrt be responsible because it was my responsibility to make sure people used only paintballs bought at our field because of incidents like that. Where i would feel terrible for the injury happening, I would also be pissed at someone for doing that, and it would have been easy to miss.

This is a different situation, and this does send a message to the safety people enough is fucking enough because this is a gun that shoots bullets and you cannot be playing around with them, or have other p[eople handling them and insure there is no mix up. In her case I would also be pissed because there is no reason to use a real gun when the replica can look perfect and deny the use of an actual bullet while allowing a fake and safe alternative. Loosing 18 months of your life for the need to use a real gun when a replica would be fine is bullshit, and I would be angry at others for even wanting to do such a thing.

There is plenty of blame to go around, and I think the industry needs to be penalized foir a stupid desire for realism in a fake fucking movie where a prop would be just as real when yopu figure sound and flash are often augmented or totally dubbed over.
