Looks like the Republicans will be hanging on to their majority for a little longer. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/co...as-democratic-rep-henry-cuellar-so-rcna150567
You are slightly wrong. This is evidence that Trump is still president and actually calling the shots. There is no contradiction. There is only Orange Zuel.
I have a lot of contempt for this dude, and I'd like to see Cisneros jump in as an independent but it probably wouldn't save the seat unless he resigns the race which he won't. Same problem as Menedez. Thanks Nancy! Still, I'm not worried that next year's majority comes down to this one seat so fuck him double. (Can NOT believe Cisneros almost beat him in 2020 and they didn't even bother to primary him in 2022)
He won't be acquitted is my guess, He'll plead out, just like Menendez (after he throws his wife under the bus). Glad I only have to worry about old Bernie in my state. All he did was become one of the 1% and buy a beach house in North Hero. I would also say, unlike 2020 you're likely to see a lot of down ballot Republicans looking for consulting work after this election. Good times for corruption.
Two years ago yesterday I covered a Cuellar campaign event with protesters outside. To them All Democrats Bad even though Cuellar votes so much with Republicans that few people in the Democratic party are happy with him.
