http://www.newindianexpress.com/wor...ve-at-Guatemala/2015/05/24/article2830871.ece These fucktards killed a 16 years old girl by burning her alive in front of other villagers as to serve justice. I cannot post the video. And i actually don't want you to see such brutality that I've witnessed. The video came to me from WhatsApp.
I don't want to see it either. I hope that the guilty parties are identified and face the appropriate charges.
Saw the video. Very, very fucked up. It's said that she had just murdered someone and this was why the mob went after her. But this isn't justice.
I saw the video, when are people going to learn to hold their phone horizontally instead of vertically to shoot video? From what I've been able to gather, she was with a group of bikers that killed a cab driver. The group was apparently caught right during the killing or right after, they took off. She was either left behind or the slowest runner and got caught. Depending on what version of the video you may have, the subtitles are way off. During one part the subtitles are saying "It doesn't matter what she did, she's still a human being.". The actual stuff being said are "She a piece of shit, she was with them.", "She nothing, she's shit.", "Where's the gasoline?"., "Hit her already.'". And there's also someone in the crowd shouting "Fire! Fire! Fire!". As well as "Set the bitch on fire!". I'm also curious as to why her shoes didn't match.
Interesting that the OP is from India considering how topical these sorts of attacks are there at the moment.
Huh? You remarked that it was interesting that the OP was from an Indian news outlet. I was suggesting that the article in the OP is part of a "tu quoque" ("you, too") defense: India gets a lot of bad rap for these kinds of things, so they're quick to point out when it happens somewhere else. How else does one murder in Guatemala rise to be a significant news story in the Indian world?
Well, the "tu quoque" implies a deflection of interest away from India and I wasn't suggesting as much, just that he might have some insights. As for the story rising in India, is was also a story here in the UK as well. India has pretty robust foreign news coverage if you can get access to the internet.
