S'what we got now. Functionally an oligarchy in waiting. One more election to affirm it or resist it.
Innocent until proven guilty is only for a court. It does not even effect reality considering a court might be wrong. Good to know reality is not something that matters to dem sycophants.
Now this: Denver orders closure of USPS facility that handles all mail for Colorado and Wyoming Denver's public health department wants to shut down a USPS location that gets every piece of Colorado's mail after five employees tested positive for COVID-19. Given that Der Drumpfenfuhrer is also threatening to "sue" California to prevent mail-in voting, one has to wonder whether this post office will be reopened by November.
The USPS is fighting the closure order, however, and Denver has said that the reason they want to close the post office is so that their health officials can go in and inspect the facility in order to make sure that it's taking the proper precautions to protect the workers. This is a case of one group of bureaucrats fighting with another group of bureaucrats over their particular fiefdoms when the solutions to the problem are actually fairly simple.
Seriously. Never in the going on 250 year history has this country united on anything except pillaging the land from savage Injuns. We'd all be better off as fifty separate countries. California will be alright financially while the Deep South form Voltron to become Christistan.
I dunno, I kinda feel like the poorer red states might turn violent once the equalization money stops coming in.

Uh that's because California pays more into the Fed than it takes out... Were Cali to split, on a simplistic view that money would be staying in Cali.
Trump blamed the 2014 Ferguson riots on Obama and promised "I alone can fix it." He's been President for three and a half years and nothing has been fixed. The one thing about being President is you don't get to point fingers. He owns this.
I'm waiting for him to crib Lester Maddox's words about "outside agitators." Maddox wasn't the only one to use it; it was the meme of the 1960s Civil Rights Movement. Go, Donnie-boy. You haven't said anything abysmally stupid in nearly 24 hours. Or maybe we're inured by now.
He's probably morally opposed to the protests, just like he's opposed to punching Nazis, strategic voting, and incremental change, so my guess would be he's watching his pony cartoons while patting himself on the back for "taking the high road." Later he'll show up and claim I'm a sexist, racist, transphobic, fascist, rapist oligarch for making this post.
He's a fragile diabetic who's also tending to several family members. Yanno, that annoying RL stuff that gets in the way of your agenda. How's about I tell you to just STFU?
Please remember whom you're talking about. He blames everyone except, possibly, his dead [illegal immigrant] mother for things he's done himself. When was the last time he didn't say "I don't take responsibility at all"? Shit, the man even fudges his golf scores, or so his "friends" have said. His entire career - I'd go so far as to say his epitaph - can be summed up as follows " Not me, not me, not meeeeee! The media, the Democrats, Nancy Pelosi, Criminal Hillary, Twitter - anybody but me!!!! I'm a victim! I'm telling you, I'm a victim of a hateful world! "
Trump actually has a very interesting campaign philosophy, when you think about it: "I haven't gotten anything done in three and a half years, because I just can't handle all the bad people out there who are in my way, which is why you should vote for me again." IOW: "I'm no leader, but at least nothing is my fault!" The pitiful thing is not Trump trying to fool the American public with that line (fooling people and taking advantage of them is what his whole life has been about), but that so many people buy into it.
ITT Zombie assures us that every thing that Democrats have done, are doing, or might do is going to cost them the election.
No surprise that the fast food president is endorsed by someone from the fast food industry Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Wendy's franchisee gives $200K more to Trump reelection campaign
