3 Years in Prison for Painkillers

You're probably familiar with the story. Boy meets Girl, Boy marries Girl, Boy has Girl smuggle some drugs in to another country, Girl goes to prison. Thoughts?

Frankly, if I'm risking prison time, I'm smuggling in something a little stronger than weak-ass Tramadol. Way to overreact, Egypt. On the other hand, this woman is clearly an idiot.

Well, it is opioid based which makes it easily abused. Yes, these products do work on pain, but they are also quite addictive and countries are noticing a problem with just giving them in large numbers to those suffering from pain. Carrying 250 with you is a lot for a narcotic pain killer. Stuff like this is normally rationed out at thirty to keep abuse low and so they can monitor a person's intake. If you are going to do that much for back pain you are literally giving yourself an addiction to opioids. Coming off the back end of that is going to require some major detox.

I am a huge drug advocate for recreational use. However even I can see the danger of having that many opioid painkillers. Coming off that stuff is hard, and if they weren't selling them the person is just hammering their system. Honestly, even in a world where that shit was legal no one should be running around with 250 of them. It is not safe or responsible at all.

At least it wasn't Skittles. I hear those carry the death penalty.

Seriously. Tramadol sucks. You have to take a much larger dose compared to an actual opioid for similar pain relief, and for many people (including me) it gives the lovely side effect of crazy fucking night terrors. No thanks.

Zimmerman never saw an actual robber, was never notified this robber was caught, and his call to the police only concerned the person who later turned out to be Trayvon Martin.

Yes, he was a druggie. THC was in his system. And if this dude was looking for extended family he wouldn't have been walking around aimlessly. Then again, that could have been caused by drugs I suppose.

Zimmerman called 911 about Martin. Zimmerman was not told of any other robber nor was he told one was caught.
