AlphaMan's recent thread got me curious. Who here owns one of the current consoles and what games do you have for your system(s)?

Are you pretty happy with your purchases or are you disappointed with some of the games you've bought?

I guess I'll go first. As of now, I only own a Nintendo Wii and i currently have-

    Metroid Prime Trilogy
    New Super Mario Bros. Wii
    Okami
    Punch-Out!!
    Resident Evil 4
    Super Mario Galaxy
    Super Mario Galaxy 2
    Super Smash Bros. Brawl
The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Wii Sports / Wii Sports Resort

I'm pretty happy with my purchases, but I never play Wii Sports unless someone comes over... I've thought about getting a PS3 but I honestly have more than enough games to play already. I think the only reason I'd get a PS3 is for the Blu-Ray player.

The boy likes Lego Star Wars - the one that encompasses all the movies.

He also has Zelda Twilight Princess which I liked until I got to a certain point that I can't get past and now it just annoys me to play it - so I don't.

Batman: Arkham Asylum 9.5 out of 10 - Can't reccomend it enugh
Bayonetta - Started it, but put it off because I'm a 38 y/o heterosexual male. The main character is too flamboyant for my taste.
Bioshock - 10 out of 10 -A successful fusion of gaming/sci-fi/philosophy and politics
Bioshock 2 - 9 out of 10 - Great gameplay, but the story is not as engrossing as the first.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 10 out of 10 - Awesome!
Call of Duty: World at War 10 out of 10 - Awesome and ZOMBIES!
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 10 out of 10 - Possibly the most exhilarating FPS ever! :soma:
Dante's Inferno - Still playing - Yes, it's a God of War clone, but it's damned good so far.
Dead Space - Still playing - Spooky as fuck. Late night game playing all alone, at it's best!
    Fallout 3 - 8 out of 10 - 100 hours plus and still going! Great sci-fi story.
Grand Theft Auto IV - Still playnig - Great story, but clumsy controls turn me off. Determined to finish this one though.
God of War Collection - 10 out of 10 - Great story, great game!
God of War III - 9 out of 10 - More of the same, but still great.
Heavy Rain - 9 out of 10 - An innovative and fresh take on adult orientated games
inFamous - 8 out of 10 - Sandbox Comics style Superhero meets videogame. Awesome!
Killzone 2 - 7 out of 10 - Futuristic FPS. Great graphics, Gratuitous profanity, Clumsy controls.
Little Big Planet - 9 out of 10 - Family orientated platformer. Up to 4 players. Play, Create and Share your own levels. Awesome!!
Mod Nation Racers - 8 out of 10 Family orientated Kart Racer Up to 4 players. Play, create and share race tracks, karts and racers. Awesome!
Red Dead Redemption - 8 out of 10 - GTA meets the wild west of 1911. Good story, but it drags in the middle. Multiplayer connectivity on the PS3 leaves much to be desired.
Resistance: Fall of Man - 7 out of 10 - FPS. Aliens invade earth in 1951. Meh.
Resistance 2 - After playing Resistance, I'll get to it eventually. No hurry for me.
Street Fighter IV - 7 out of 10 - Great game, but I get my ass handed to me online.
Transformers: The War for Cybertron - 7.5 out of 10 - Third person shooter that details the events up to the Autobots and Decepticons leaving Cybertron for Earth. If you're a Gen 1 fan, this is a must have since Hasbro declared it official canon.
Uncharted 2 - 10 out of 10 - The most cinematic, movie worthy game in the industry, IMHO. Wouldn't be shocked to see this on the silver screen one day.

    There, I think that's it...

I know I'm going to end up getting Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions (probably) as well as Fallout New Vegas, Medal of Honor, Call of Duty: Black Ops and Little Big Planet 2.

Every game I own for every system I have is listed on my Backloggery page. http://www.backloggery.com/the_wizard_666 There are a few details that aren't up-to-date, but the titles themselves are more or less accurate.

Well, I haven't added much to it without trading (tons of dupes) since I've been unemployed the last year and a half, but I've been actively collecting since I got my first job in '97. The NES collection is almost complete, down to my last 34 games for a full US set, but about half of the remaining games are triple-digit values, and two are 4 digit price tags. Doubt I'll finish it anytime soon unless I find some sort of work again. I think the biggest help is that I don't have much of a social life, I don't smoke or do drugs, and I only drink on occasion. Basically means I have more disposable income than most of my peers. That and I would sometimes forgo eating if an item I wanted showed up for a reasonable price :P

My console buy was a pretty good move for someone of any age. My PS3 is after all a BluRay player, and it's internet capabilities to play internet videos on my tv made it almost worth the purchase by itself. My only compliant is that the internet community seems to be conspiring against my ps3. Hulu is disabled, youtube has become almost unusable, etc.

Wait, are we counting games besides our current system?

    Because I also have....

    A PS2 with....
    Gran Turismo 4
Madden 05 or 07 or something
    Ratchet Deadlocked
Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal
    Ratchet and Clank Going Commando
    Lego StarWars The Original Trilogy
    Lego Batman
    Sly Cooper 3
    Pinball Hall of Fame
    Kingdom Hearts 2
    X-Men Legends 2

I have a Sega Genesis with...
    Sonic 1 and 2
    Streets of Rage
    Earnest Evans
    Quackshot
One or two others I can't remember

    If we're counting emulation than....

    Atari 2600...
Every game ever made, or very nearly.

    Arcade Cabinet games through MAME...
uh I don't know, atleast a hundred of them - all of the classics - pacman, frogger, dig dug, centipede, stargate, tron, etc

    Super Nintendo
    Mortal Combat
    Killer Instinct
    Star Trek DS9
    Seaquest
    F Zero
    Super Zelda
    Super Mario World
    others I can't remember

    Nintendo 64
    Super Mario 64

    You're wrong.

I'm 38. The average age of people playing FPS on consoles is 39.

I have a Wii with Zelda: Twilight Princess and an old Gamecube disk with OoT. Everything else was Amazon'd after being played and in almost all cases PC gaming is superior.

I just linked it because it was faster than typing everything out. And emulation is for pussies, everything I have listed is 100% legit. I'm actually missing some stuff from the list to be honest, but it's mostly Japanese stuff that isn't playable in English anyway.
