Well I thought I was gonna teach them all
    A trick or two
I had plenty of them up my sleeve
While they had just a few
    <o:P></o:P>
I had no respect for them
    Small town meant small minds
Then I saw her walking down the street
And I learned it took all kinds
    <o:P></o:P>
So I went along with what they said
Fibbed a change of heart and my ‘tude
But she kept on looking at me
Like I would stare at the tube
    <o:P></o:P>
    She had the soulful eyes
    One couldn’t escape
When she looked straight at me
I felt like donning a cape

To make a long story short
    I was being played.
    To them she would report
    For they wanted me away

Something in me opened her eyes
And unlike them she wouldn't hide
Her love for me ended her guise
I learned to take it in stride
    <o:P></o:P>
I’m was from the city, just a punk with a ‘tude
I no longer wear leather clothes
    I’ve become such a prude
It’s amazing how much we all change
    For the ones we love
But it’s best we do for when you walk in their shoes
God sees it all from above
    <o:P></o:P>
    <o:P></o:P>
    <o:P></o:P>
    <o:P></o:P>
    <o:P></o:P>
    Hope you like it.
