Howdy friendly friends! I was introduced to Wordforge by a friend of mine and figured I'd sign up - have a conversation, make some comments, rant my nonsense rhetoric every now and again, offend random strangers on the internet, share some laughs, and hide from the aliens trying to steal the unicorn I hide in my dirt-floor basement. You know, the usual.

So, if Mr. Leahy is looking for me, tell him I'm buying Randy some cheeseburgers.

Welcome! And any friend of Rob Matters is, well, somebody who will have to sink or swim on his own. But I will say you don't have to worry about his reputation dragging you down. Everybody earns their place here by their own deeds and words. Based on the Ultima graphic, I think you'll fit in just fine.

I think bribery is a beautiful thing. I have no problem bumping and/or agreeing to anything someone says providing it works out for me.

Hmm . . . perhaps you should activate your Evil Administrator powers to lock mburtonk's post count at 4,999 when he gets there.

    Welcome!

Feel free to post pics of your boobs if you're female, otherwise post pics of your GF's boobs. Or pics of some random boobs if you don't have a GF! :tits: :ramen:

(Don't worry about the "No nudity" rule...it's all good! ;) )

Everybody loves some boobies. Unfortunately, I all the booby pics I've taken of my girlfriends' pairs have mostly disappeared. I only have one picture left over and I guard it jealously. It's only a picture for the worthy. ;)

I'm surprised I haven't seen a single "Who the fuck are you?" message, though. I thought that was the traditional internet greeting.

Now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure I had more posts than this at some point. Does the number go down when the database is culled?

    Welcome to the board Dantes!

I registered here not too long ago. So I guess you could say I am also a new member here!

You like Ultima? That's awesome. Which one is your favorite? Mine is Ultima V!

I actually found an old thread on this board that was dedicated to reviewing every Ultima game. It is a pretty interesting discussion and you can find it here at this link...

    http://www.wordforge.net/index.php?threads/entire-ultima-series-available-low-price.95388/

The thread starter was mysteriously banned from the board. :(

My understanding is that he asked to have his account locked. Although if you have information to the contrary... ;)

Does anybody else see the :ban: smiley and think of this being sung with "ban" instead of "bang"?

No, he didn't ask for his account to be locked.... not quite sure how that happened.

But to be honest it isn't really a big deal, just leave it closed. You can consider that poster gone.

    Rest In Peace, Robotech Master!

Yeah, I would not have expected him to want it banned. Hopefully he has wandered back in with a new name. ;)

OK, I've been busy ignoring the board as I'm currently overseas, so I can't be bothered to properly accuse you of being @Soma's dual until I get back :bailey:

Awesome, I'll check it out. I started out with U7 back in...I don't know, '96 or '97 even though I never did wind up beating the game until 2000. The game was so large and immersive that I just had fun fooling around with side-quests and dungeon exploring. Eventually, I realized I had been playing the game on and off for 3 years and never actually paid much attention to the quest itself.

U5 is Richard Garriot's favorite, IIRC. Technological limits aside, it was - and still is - a great game. As far as story depth goes, I think it's the best in the series.

Thanks for posting the link, I'll be sure to read through it.
