A New Year by Grammour Boy It seems like yesterday This year began, yet Here we are at its end. Now another year beckons us anew To, perhaps, a better tomorrow. But who knew? So let's say a prayer for the departed And the sick, and the weak and the defeated. As another year quickly approaches, Bringing with it lots pain and Suffering and, perhaps A little bit of joy and happiness. Let us be grateful for what we have become. However, let's not be lost in the minutiae. May we enjoy this coming year as If it were the very last year of our lives.
