Q2 2022 was revised and is no longer negative.

Two quarters of negative GDP equals a recession has never been the accepted definition of a recession. Maybe for some lazy economists and business writers. The NBER looks at a much broader data set to determine if the economy is in recession.

This has been pointed out to FF, including the fact that they have used the current definition for many years. As a dedicated student of history though he has no need for things like primary sources, and much prefers his own memories of tradition.

Do you acknowledge that you were basing your contention on estimates that were later revised upwards and that under no definition were we in nor are we currently in a recession?
