This is a story about a man that once existed named Casanova. Although it may be rather long, I think it'll be worth the time to read. I had to type then copy this from Microsoft Word which should explain why the lettering is so big! If I'd tried to type it here, the window would have timed out. Casanova and the Devil Once upon a time there was a man named Casanova. Casanova was a lustful man, a GREAT womanizer. This was a man whose life was obsessed with nothing but the immoral desires of a womans body. Throughout his life, he had bragged that he had managed to have sex with over 10,000 women. Finally, the day came when Casanova died. When he tried to enter the gates of heaven, Jesus met him and the gates, and sadly informed him: I'm very sorry sinner, There is no place for you in the kingdom of heaven. You've already had your heaven back on earth. Your heaven..was in the bedroom. So with this Casanova was turned away and forced to descend to the pits of hell. Once there, he found himself lying face down in a pile of soot, right at the Devils feet. When he looked in horror at the Devils face, he looked around and found himself surrounded by thousands of the Devils Demons. Casanova, now stricken with sheer terror, began to beg the Devil for mercy. The Devil told him "Okay, you want mercy? I’ll show you mercy, MY kind of Mercy. I’m willing to make you a deal Casanova. I’m willing to play your whole life back to you. With this I’m going to show you EVERY woman you’ve ever had sex with in your entire life. All you have to do for me is give me JUST ONE OF THEIR NAMES, and I’ll guarantee that no harm will come to you. I’ll make you my right hand man. BUT, if you fail to do this, I’m going to do 10,000 times worser to you than anything you can ever imagine. All I want is a name. Make a deal with the Devil. Show me just ONE woman, whose name you can remember, and you will be home free." Casanova heart raced with both hope and joy "All I have to do, is identify just one woman that I’ve had sex with by name? Man this is gonna be easy" The Devil then gave him a very evil grin. With this, the Devil pointed to a flat wall over in the corner. Immediately a wall of flames shot up from the bottom of the wall and ignited it. The flames heated the wall up to a point where it glowed as brightly as a drive in movie screen. "Gaze upon this wall Casanova, said the Devil, THIS IS YOUR LIFE!!" The first scene showed Casanova when he was only five years old. He was peeping through a bedroom keyhole watching his oldest brother have sex with his fiancée. Casanova then took some candy, and went outside in the yard to a little girl about the same age as he was. He gave this girl some candy to come into the bushes with him, then did the same thing to her that he saw his brother do to his fiancée. The Devil asked him "This is women #1. Can you remember her name?" Casanova laughed and said " I remember doing that, but I was VERY young at the time. You can’t possible expect me to remember who she was." The Devil said "Doesn’t matter, a deal is a deal. THATS NUMBER ONE that you’ve failed to identify" The next scene showed Casanova at age ten. He was very big for his age. This scene was at his brothers wedding party. Everyone was so busy drinking and celebrating that no one paid attention to him. There was one extremely heavy chested woman there, that had drank ale until she passed out. When no one was looking, Casanova carried her into the coatroom, locked the door behind him, and then raped her while she was asleep. Casanova said "wait a minute, no one saw me do that" The Devil said "doesn’t matter, I SAW YOU DO IT". Now, what was her name? Casanova couldn’t remember The Devil said "That’s TWO you’ve failed to Identify As time went on, the Devil showed him, woman, after, woman, after woman, after women. 9,999 women the Devil showed him. Casanova remembered having sex with every last one of them, but he could not remember a single one of their names. Now he was starting to get really nervous. The Devil told him" There is only one woman left Casanova. This one was taken out of order and saved for the very end, because I thought it best to save the best for last. This one was very special, for you see, this one was a virgin when you had her. You were her very first man and unlike the others, this one truly, truly loved you so. This one was from a family of noblemen with very high standards. When you freaked this one, she was one of many that you impregnated and abandoned without ever looking back. Her family, being humiliated at the fact that their daughter was to give birth to a bastard child from a man it would never know, told this women to "GET OUT" She would be disowned until she found you. This woman looked high and low, to and fro, through every hill, every valley, every street and every alley looking for you, all to no avail. Having no skills, nor money to provide for this child, she later went insane. She drowned this child in a nearby river, then committed suicide. Now, suicide is the one sin that God will not forgive, so when she killed herself, she too was refused in heaven and was forced to enter the gates of hell. As Casanova looked on in horror, the Devil pointed to a pile of rocks over in the corner and said yelled.. "Gaze at these pile pr Rocks Casanova, for your last and final chance lies here" With this THE Devil clapped his hands and a large pillar of flames came spiraling up from the depths. Inside of them lay the dead body of this woman. The Devil yelled. Study her very carefully Casanova. Look at her body and study it well. This is your very last woman, and you very last chance. For the fate of you own soul, WHAT WAS HER NAME? As Casanova stood there nervous and afraid, The Devil leaned forward with a very evil grin, while all of his Demons gathered around Casanova leaning forward forming a very tight circle around him. "Deal is up, you’ve run out of time, either give me a name or your Soul is mine" Cassnova had absolutely no idea what this womans name was. The Devil knew Casanova wouldn’t be able to pull this off, so even while he was still alive on earth, the Devil made arrangements for a special pit to be dug in a remote part of hell. The flames in this pit were 10,000 hotter than all the fires in the rest of hell, and around this pit stodd 10,000 Demons guarding it round the clock. One Demon for evey woman Casanova dogged. This new pit...would become Casanova’s new eternal home! ...and you know what the saddest part of this story is? All thoughout his lifes review, every woman that the Devil Showed him ALL TOLD HIM WHAT THEIR NAMES WERE. All of them, Every last one of them did. While each one of them Identified them selves throughout the story of his life, Casanova was so busy looking at their bodies, that he never heard a single word any of them said! Go Figure
Women are misguided gullible optimists and never learn from their mistakes: By the time Casanova's reputation was established, women obviously knew he was a "wham, bam, thank you ma'm" kind of guy, yet they still slept with him - because they were "the one" to change him, to tame him. So history repeats itself.....treat women like shit and they will beat a path to your door.
Couple historical nitpicks. Casanova didn't sire an army of bastards, as he was in possesion of one of the very first lambskin condoms which was one of his most prized possessions. Second, he needed that condom, cuz he was swarming with VD. Enough so, he was likely sterile.
OOH I get it: 1) Never tell a man your name on a one night stand, he'll never remember it anyway. 2) If you're sleeping with a known slut, don't expect to be special. There's been a lot of others, you're not a unique little snowflake. 3) Casanova was technically raped a fair few times; men can get messed up as well. 4) Always use protection - you don't know where they've been, and you can't guarantee they know either. 5) Don't let your little brother ever see you have sex 6) Some women are drama queens, who fall in love with the first bloke that shows them attention. 7) God will judge you for others mistakes - if someone falls in love with you, then goes emo and kills themselves over it, that is YOUR fault, not their families for not providing them with any support, even if you never really hid the idea that it was just sex and nothing else 7a) Women don't have an original thought in their bodies - if you have sex with them, you own them, are responsible for ALL their actions, and that of their families, and if you don't remember the names of your new toys you're going to hell. Did I get it??
Oh, I didn't realise this was the workshop. Starguard, if this was an ORIGINAL piece of your own writing, then please bear in mind my criticisms for your second draft. Right now, the moral isn't really clear, and as you can see from my previous post, there are a number of dubious conclusions that can be drawn from it. Also, Dicky's pointed out the historical inaccuracy, and I personally think that 10,000 appears to be blind exaggeration simply to make a point - instead, it means the story loses authority. Also, according to wiki - "It was also here that he came into contact with the opposite sex for the first time when his teacher's younger sister apparently masturbated him at the age of eleven. At the age of sixteen he lost his virginity in the arms of two sisters who, according to his account, threw themselves at him." This means that the 10,000 claim seems to be physically undoable. It also means that you have to ask (or at least, I was wondering) doesn't that leave him with very little time for each encounter, only enough for them to ask "was that it?!", let alone him find out their names? Give a guy some credit!
Oh no.... This is in no way any work of my own. This is in fact taken from a screen play I once witnessed that was told to show, that if one chooses to live a life of sin. God will make you pay for it in the end!
Casanova, whose famous and voluminous memoirs wax poetic over the various women he has loved and are among the most affective if soppy texts in the world, isn't really the best choice to make that kind of point.
I guess this story was meant to predict that Lust is a sin, and womanizers all go to hell when they die!
Wow. Seems like there aren't too many people here that believe a man should pick his one night stands responsibly, but rather, as long as he says, "It's just sex and nothing more," he's off the hook. Fact is, women shouldn't be treated that way to begin with. Yeah it sucks, but guys have some responsibility in choosing who they decide to sleep with. It doesn't take that long to figure out whether or not the woman is in it for the sex, or in it for more. If you hurt someone, you hurt someone. Don't think you're off the hook because you warned them. If you think women are that easily set, you're a damn fool.
So....Casanova put a gun to all these womens' heads? They knew of his reputation, yet still slept with him? Hmmm.....and last time I checked you can't have sex without a partner present. Thus, the women are just as guilty as he is. Just sayin.....
Read that again; are you certain that is what you want to say? Why is the onus on the man to pick? Do the women just passively line up hoping for any attention they can get? More like, as long as no lies are told, and informed consent is practised, then yeah, what's the problem? Treated what way? As consenting adults who have the right to say no? Everyone has responsibility in who they choose to sleep with, including the woman. Everyone has feelings that can get hurt. It's up to the owner of said feelings to take that risk or not. But oldfella put it much more succicently and elegantly than me.

We aren't in agreement about what I mean. I stated that I believe women have just as much responsibility to men as I expressed that men have toward women.
