There's a new poster called Sturmfaust 88. Sturmfaust was IIRC the name of an SS unit during WW2 and 88 means 'Heil hitler' wherever the actual salute is forbidden by law (H being the 8th letter in the alphabet). The typography is also clearly SS-like. Maybe better to watch that one before the board gets into trouble.

Now that we're not on Austrian servers I don't think there'd be a legal problem, but it sounds awfully like one of our jolly pranksters getting ready to troll you big time. :garamet:

^ Problem is, several continental European posters like Packard, Async, Pylades or myself could get in real trouble when somebody starts throwing around nazi symbols. It is forbidden by law after all, making it more dangerous than nudity for Americans.

What he's using now doesn't fall under these laws btw. But it's the direct road there. I'm rather sure that the meaning of '88' and other such codes isn't widely known even in Germany let alone in the US. You need to dig a little into this scene to find out about it and this gets ugly very soon.

Just letting you know. No need to take any action, just asking for a little wariness on the part of the admins and mods ;)

Hmmm... I didn't realise that 88 business wasn't common knowledge. It is in the UK because of all the Oi bands in the late 70s/early 80s. Obviously a troll, but maybe in this sceptered isle...

    It's a Midnight Funeral/Slough of Despair dual.
