    Hm, just saw this. It's something between a web TV player and an offline media player. BUT: they have a few full series for free, registration free watching! I've seen original TREK, TWILIGHT ZONE, MELROSE PLACE and a few of the CSIs (OK, those are everywhere anyway). Don't have the time to fully explore the thing now but this seems a lot better than Joost and so on.

    Get it here. Requires a program called 'AIR' which seems to be something like .net.

    Little warning: As cool as the user interface is, it'll send 'usage stats' even when you watch offline files. And you can't block it if you want to use the online goodies :(
