...For a month. But apparently she had stayed in the bathroom for 2 years. The story's a bit more realistic now that they don't have her sitting on the actual toilet for 2 years.
Why do the authorities have to charge anyone with anything? It's a ridiculous situation, but how about they get psychological help for BOTH parties instead of going out of their way to find a law to screw one of them with?
It's gotten so difficult to get anyone committed for psych care, that's pretty much how they have to do it. It's not like the good, ol' days when you could just say, "Judge, the bitch is crazy and needs to be locked up!", and he'd do it.
Whose going to pay for it? Them? You really think they have the money and the mental mind set to seek and keep getting help? Right now the way things are you have to go to jail just to get mental help. Of course it doesn't work anyway because once they let them out they just stop going to therapy and stop taking the medicine. Where I work the jails have become burdened with people who have mental problems. I've seen some weird shit on TV but it takes on a whole'nother dimension when it's happening right in front of you.
