We have a title and a teaser for season twelve of American Horror Story. Apparently it's based off of a book Delicate Condition by Danielle Valentine. This season is part one of I'm assuming two parts. The season is set to premier on September 20th so we should get a proper Halloween episode. How the strikes affect the next season, I have no idea, but I look forward to this season.
The first episode dropped and it looks like the plot is centered around genetic manipulation. Emma Roberts returns as a wife trying to get pregnant via in vitro fertilization. She's an actress and goes to a clinic that seems very modern and strict with their privacy. After her first visit she starts seeing visions of spiders and is afraid she's going to give birth to a spider. She later goes to a party where she sees a creepy looking woman who's basically stalking her throughout the episode. The episode follows a week of weird things happening to her and around her with at the end she's in bed and wakes up to a different woman in her room who she chases out of her apartment only to find a message written on her mirror. So there you have it, a set up for a mystery to unfold.
Got behind, been busy. Looks like some sort of secret society is behind this and they make some kind of "deal with the devil" with women to give birth to some sort of spider/human hybrid. I'm not sure where it's going, but I'm liking it so far.I hated Leslie Grossman the first couple of seasons she was on, but now I'm loving her.
Well, that's it for now. There's only five episodes for part one and part two probably won't be here until 2024 due to the actors strike that's still ongoing. So it looks like certain people don't age and the seem to be part of some sort of cult or coven. I think Satan is involved and obviously some sort of magic or voodoo. More to come, but so far so good.
