I haven't watched the show in a while; too many people taking at once and no one listening gets tiresome. I remember Alan Colmes as mostly fair-minded, though people tell me he started toeing the Democrat line more and more in the past several years. Besides, it was clearly Hannity's show anyway. He dominated it at almost every turn.
Is this because you like Kristen Powers, and want to see more of her? Or is it because you dislike her and want to see her shouted at by Hannity?
Actually, it'd be a good way to dial Hannity back some because he'd be more deferential, I think, to a woman. He even treats that shrew Estrich quite civilly. I think it depends on where they want the show to go...if they want to reign him in and get more civil, Powers would be the obvious choice. If they want to maintain the "Crossfire" vibe, they'll get a man who can mix it up with Hannity and the guests. In that vein, the guy I would cast is Ellis Henican. He's camera friendly (unlike Colmes) well-spoken, and not afraid to raise his voice if need be. Hannity & Henican would be probably a better team than Hannity & Colmes
This chick? Not bad, but I'm not into blondes. Much better than looking at Colmes big waterhead. I might even watch sometime (not really).
I don't watch the show regularly, but I have seen Hennican now and then. He'd be a pretty good counterpart who has a tone that doesn't sound as appeasing. Even though he'd still be wrong.
