Produced by Noah Hawley. Series lead, Sydney Chandler. Another Elf! I said this in the Alien 7/Romulus thread, all the substitute Ripleys are Elves. Sigourney's an Amazon, give us another one of those! I don't even mind if you alternate! Amazon, Elf, Amazon, Elf; but all Elves? It's weird, man. It's weird. https://www.darkhorizons.com/sydney-chandler-to-lead-alien-tv-series/
I have a feeling all the new movies and shows will bounce up and down the timeline in bottle stories, like the comics did. Funny how Dark Horse comics showed how the futures of Alien, Predator, Terminator, and Star Wars would all go. Those writer's rooms faced the same challenges, I suppose.
About the last thing I care about with Alien movies is the corporation and their history. We know enough with they are profit hungry people who will sell their own mothers to get a hazardous liofe form to the planet so they can cultivate it for new war toys. I never watched the alien movies and wondered more about the corporation. I knew all I needed to know. I guess it is good for the people qwho do wonder that, but it was not what a lot of people watched for. Seriously, if I wanted to watch something about Ripley in her office on earth I would watch Working Girl again. I don't really watch that one again and again.
In the comics, they did a storyline where they figure out how to squeeze aliens for their juices, and sift it down to a Captain America steroid called Fire. I'd watch that as a show. But that would have to be a sequel, not a prequel.
