Agreed. Yet most potential candidates have either already turned down the offer or have accepted it; We've quite a few former staff members.

I'd rather we didn't lose the current admins if possible. Having Tamar Garish, Order2Chaos, Scorp, and Spaceturkey in the rotation would make taking a break that much easier.

If Spaceturkey is coming back as a moderator he'd be welcome to join Bailey, Paladin, and me.

Any new staff probably should be a moderator...we already have five Admins, counting the invisible Elwood.

On a completely unrelated topic, I'm thinking of doing a "box set" of all Chad's gun threads. What say you?

I think some people will be happy and a whole bunch more will bitch and moan about it, depending what side they are on. Acting on it is questionable because we usually don't act against spam.

However, maybe it's time we should finally decide how much spamming is actually detrimental and when it should be acted on even in the Red Room and create that guideline and enforce it from now on.

For the next couple of months I'm not going to be around heaps due to overloading classes at uni, so if you did want to cut numbers I'd probably be the one to look at first. I don't think we have too many mods though since it's always a good idea to have people who are on at different times.

Chad is open to suggestions why don't we give him one? How about something like garamet's thread about those killed in the Middle East?

Might make everybody [-]happy[/-] less angry, and considering he's broken no rules I think it's the least we can do.


BTW - This should not become a precedent. Cuz if we start boxing all similar threads we'll end up with only a handful of huge threads, The Donkey vs Elephant box set alone would be ginormous!
