    Don't think so.

Then again, how many of the killers responsible for the embassy/consulate attacks below were caught/tried/executed by the Bush administration?

I don't really remember the source of the image, beyond the fact that I found it on my Facebook. But the source of the info contained in it is history itself, and every bit of it easily confirmed w/ a Google search.

I love spaghetti carbonara. Might have to make that for dinner -- it's hearty on a cold night, and the carbs will sustain me for tomorrow's shoveling.

Ambassador Stevens was the first U.S. ambassador murdered since 1979 IIRC.

The reality is even the Senate report said that the state department asked them if they'd like more security twice but Amb. Stevens twice turned it down saying he thought more security would make it harder for him to do his job. Stevens was also advised to not go out without guards as it made him vulnerable but Stevens said he had to be assessable to the people in order to do the job of an ambassador. It comes back to the decisions the guy made himself, even if they were for good reasons, they did make the place more vulnerable and he did keep turning down beefed up security.

That's the truth and the rest was just bullshit invented, and I do mean completely just pulled out of their asses, by partisan hack political operatives. Luckily no one but complete cretins ever bought into the right wing noise machine's spin.

At the time, I was a Republican, and I was outraged.

You've got some credibility problems. And I mean more than just your little example of facebook-class politics. A smart ninth grader would aspire for better.

    Sure you were.

Let's see a link to those threads where you expressed that outrage at the time. Go ahead, I'll wait.

Were you outraged by front line diplomats in dangerous assignments being killed, or by the policies that led the jihadists to target them in the first place? It matters, because the herp and derp about Benghazi lacks any kind of focus other than Obama Bad, which I'm sure you agree doesn't do a whole lot for the credibility argument either. Get in to specifics with your whining, otherwise, whining is all anybody will notice.

Anyway, decided to do a scampi instead of carbonara.

It does look tasty, but I make it a rule to never eat anything with an exoskeleton. Still, with some other variety of seafood: I'd be all over that!

I noticed Albertson's (one of the local unionized grocery stores which normally has higher prices) had whole Farmer John's Bone in hams for just $0.88 per pound. That's like $10 and change for a 12 pound ham so I bought four of them last Sunday. I put three of them in my spare freezer for future use and need to figure out when to use the one in the fridge. They also had a dozen large AA eggs for $0.99 and a gallon of whole milk for $1.49. I love shopping for bargains because just by paying attention to the ads you can easily save 1/3rd if not 1/2. It's like a game to see how much I can save.

How many times did the Bush administration promise that "transparency would be the cornerstone" of its operations? But oh, yeah, nobody gives a shit about Obama doing exactly the same shit Bush did while blaming Bush for every one of his failures.

So tell me, Gul, how many of Obama's failures have you got the fuckin' balls to lay at Obama's feet?

I'd give him a D minus at this point.

But an A+ president was never my goal.

    Revenge was.
You people give me 8 years of Bush, I give back 8 years of Obama.

    And it's worked beautifully.
    Its surpassed my expectations.
This has been a revenge for the history books.
The only thing that could make it mathematically perfect, is if you all lined up, and started french kissing my shoes like Lee Woo-jin in "Oldboy".

Um, did you get confused about who you were responding to? And are you actually excusing Bush because he didn't claim he wouldn't fuck things up? Really, that's your position?

As for failures, we can start with the stimulus and the ACA. Both were efforts at compromise rather than at the right solution. But unlike you, I get how the system works, and know he had to go for what he could actually pass.

I don't think it is, but if I were ordering my last meal on death row I would definitely want garlic butter bacon fries to be one of the items on the menu.

Seriously? 8 years of even-more-shitty President is supposed to be "payback" for 8 years of shitty President. That's like saying, "I was so incensed when you farted during my speech that I shat my pants until it dribbles out my pants' legs and onto my sneakers." That's all manner of not how revenge is supposed to go.

I dunno, maybe you've failed to notice on your own, maybe you've been steered into failing to notice, but the only difference, the only difference, between Bush and Obama, is that Bush was actually a clueless idiot and Obama is fucking shit up on purpose, out of outright, malicious villainy.

How would you regard Bush if you had known, just from watching that his "fuckups" were on purpose?

This is what we call a 'tu quoque' fallacy. It even leaes out the millions of Republicans who were outraged by Bush's inaction regarding these Embassy attacks.

But you know what fucking didn't happen? Bush didn't have Condi Rice on television blaming these embassy attacks on shit that had nothing to do with them. Obama instructed his bitch to lie to us all. How's that for an administration that declared that 'transparency' would be its 'cornerstone', hmm?

You feeling like you were told the truth by this administration? Unless you really are as fucking stupid as this administration counts on you being, you do not. And you know what it makes you, that failure to be as gullible as they would prefer you to be? It makes you a racist. Because how dare you notice when you have been bald-facedly lied to? How dare you notice that?

So no. This administration has lied to you. Repeatedly. About Benghazi. About the IRS targeting scandal. About Fast & Furious. About vacations. About Dogs know how many other things. And you? Well, just under -- actually, according to the polls, way under -- half of you, insist that the rest of us should pay it no mind.

But we're not doing that. And we're not going to do that. Come to grips with that, Leftists. You tried your shit too soon. Because here's what you don't get: The takeover of the educational system won't work. Not while there still exists a real world, in which the worthless crap you're trying to cram into kids' heads can be tested and -- as it always does -- fails.

There's the problem with your ideology -- and with instilling it -- the real world interferes. It always will. Give up.
