Anybody here play or willing to learn? It's a Werewolf/Mafia style game set in space. Pretty easy to learn. Thought there might be interest in setting up a WF game one of these days....
I'll play if I'm available when play happens. It's a group game. It's free on iOS/Android, and like $5 on Steam. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Among_Us
A little more detail: It's primarily an online game that one plays in a group of up to 10 players. I think it's free as a mobile app and $5 on Steam. Most players are Crewmates aboard a rickety spaceship or station, but there is at least one Imposter (and up to three) who is Among Us. Crewmates havve a number of tasks, fairly easy minigames, that they have to complete all around the ship/station. The Imposters are trying to kill Crewmates or sabotage their work without being discovered. Impostors have periods when they are incapable of killing at the start of the round and immediately after a kill. They can't actually do tasks, so they have to fake it. And they can move around the map through vents, which can get them places faster and undetected but can make it obvious that they aren't Crewmates. Players (either Crewmates or Imposters) who discover a body can report it, or they can go to a specific place and push a button to call an emergency meeting. Then players debate who might be an Imposter. Players typically ask or state where players have been and what tasks they did, what they saw, who they trust and who is "sus," or suspicious. If there are enough votes for someone, that person is killed (voting is the only way Crewmates can kill and Impostor). Crewmates win if they kill off all Impostors or if they complete all their tasks. Impostors win if they are tied with the number of Crewmates or if they pull off sabotages that aren't fixed in time. There are tons of videos of it on You Tube. P.S. Mods, after posting this thread, I thought maybe this is more appropriate for the Press Start room. If so, please move it there.
AOC played it on Twitch as part of a Get Out The Vote effort! She wondered why a starship needs gasoline.
Watching AOC play was the first I had heard of the game. It was super fun to watch her do it. I recommend watching her version of the stream (or that of the YouTubers she played with) to anyone interested either in gaming or American politics.
