So I got to thinkin'. While Barack Obama may be Black John Edwards, he actually is far superior to Regular John Edwards. After 2004 Edwards was a goat; a cheap, shimy Loser. His career was finished after losing to Bush as Kerry's Boy Wonder. Obama, on the other hand...if he loses, he'll have lost a heartbreaker after a long, convincing fight that went down to the wire. And he'll almost certainly get another term as Senator. So when 2012 rolls around, McCain will be, like, 173 years old so the best the GOP can manage is running VP Palin as the "incumbent". And if McCain's past career is any indication, a McCain Administration will be only marginally less bad than an Obama Administration. So for Obama-Palin II, Black Jesus is in a pretty strong position. Add to that, he gets four more years to polish his skills and get sneakier and slicker. Obama in '12 could be far more dangerous to America than Obama in '08. But if he gets elected in '08, he's woefully unsuited for the job. And it will quickly become clear to everyone. Hell, the mentally retarded that live out in California and voted for Gray Davis may even try to recall him. Obama '08 becomes Carter '08. Yes, it'll be a crappy 4 years. And it'll create problems we'll still have to deal with a generation later. But it'll also set up at least another 12 years of Republicans in the White House. To say nothing of bitchslapping the GOP into waking up and getting back to basics. So while I can't personally vote for the man, I'm starting to think an Obama presidency in '08 is the best we can do for our country right now. And it lets me vote for Bob Barr with an even cleaner conscience.
Fuck Edwards, I told ya'll he was an asshole from the start when he ran for VP the first time. He eventually proved himself without gaining an office, thank god. He reminded me to much of Gore who was and is a hollow shell that keeps jumping on the latest bandwagon hoping it will get him somewhere. Both are true political losers that can't make a real name for themselves actually accomplishing something of worth. Gore no more lives "green" than any movie star in Hollywood.
