I largely stay out of the "Is Obama a socialist?" debate as I find the topic somewhat tediously obsessed with labels......but my, how refreshing it is to see professed Socialists take Obama to task for coopting their platform via his rhetoric!! The wealth of information here is also rather well synthesized -- say what you will about socialists, but they make excellent researchers.

The image of Obama sobbing that the big, mean Republicans aren't letting him help small businesses I found to be particularly amusing. Child, please, as if anybody buys that crap anymore. I'll tell you what will actually happen -- a few changes will be made, and then a few Senators will change their mind and vote for cloture. Everyone will then play to their "base" (that it was either a success or a failure, depending on the base), but the banks will win again.

How funny that the bulk of this money in Obama's magic bullet to save middle class jobs ends up going to the big banks!! I'm shocked I tell you, shocked! And while I know that Wall Street helped heavily bankroll Obama's election, just how much money does he owe these guys?? You'd think he'd have already paid them all back for helping him get elected with all the taxpayer bailouts. They must have quite a bit of dirt on him if Obama is still paying them off. :jayzus:

Nuke the planet and start over from scratch.

It is the only way to be sure.

But save all the hot girls in cryogenic freeze first.

Where did this happen? Certainly not in this article.

I'm a regular reader of the WSWS and they hold Obama to be "the direct representative of the financial aristocracy", not some pseudo-socialist.

    I understand.

If I were a socialist, I would not want to claim President Obama either.

Clearly, the solution is to raise taxes and force everyone to buy health insurance.

I'm sure they'll be on it soon haha, since this article was also cross-posted at one of our Hillary websites.

In fact, many of the original articles that are written there, are then rewritten in the mainstream media a few days later. For instance, just last week, Karl Rove rewrote an article about the economy one of us had written two days earlier.

It kinda happens all the time now; the known prominent journalists (based on IP address) that visit certain Hillary websites, we've found that a few days after visiting the website, you'll see much of the same stuff reported in their columns for the national magazines and newspapers. They came there to scoff, but ended up leaving as echoes...:D
