Well that was a right mauling. Guess I'm going to have to step in and stop Tex' all conquering ways.
I'll be free for a few hours Sunday evening for a game, is 8PM UK time good for you, Tex?

Ya I believe it is. PM me reminding me. That is 2AM here, but I don't have to work Monday morning and I expect it will only take me a good 25 or 30 minutes to finish you. :bergman:

Flow showed a little improvement tonight... I took the screen shots but I don't want to embarrass him. ;)

    *gulp*

Maybe Flow and I could be allies vs you, might make this a fairer contest.

I will play all of you vs me. Bring it. :bergman:

The only tricky part would be finding a time good for everyone.

2AM does sound awfully late/early, you sure you don't mind, Tex? I wouldn't want you to use sleepiness as an excuse if I manage to destroy you... ;)

I could post the file of the recorded game between me and Flow. Then you could watch how I'm doing what I do and possibly stand a chance against me. The first 20 minutes is the key to the whole game. If you've never played online I am going to beat you so bad it will hurt your grandkids.

At least do yourself a favor and read this before you play me: http://www.mrfixitonline.com/viewtopic.php?t=946

Damn, I've been practicing against the computer and I'm getting slaughtered on the 'moderate' difficulty. The bastards are all ganging up against me! :weep:

Tex, I'd like to see that recorded game of yours, please.

Summerteeth - me and Tex are planning to have a go at it Sunday evening. Please join us. :)

The file is only a few mb. You view it by going into Age of Kings, then saved or recorded games. You'll need to put the file in your age of kings folder under
    SaveGame.
    Mine is at:
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires II\SaveGame

    Here is the "game":
    http://www.savefile.com/files/339155

click AOK Game, then scroll down and download "Tex vs evenflow"

Well just zoomed through your game, got to hand it to you Tex, you gave Flow a right hiding. Flow needs a few more games under his belt I think, looked as if he didn't know what hit him! I liked your strategy, very interesting. Think I'm going to have to some more practice in before Sunday!

Keep plugging away, Flow. Here's some useless advice, having watched the game between you and Tex - advance quicker! You were hanging around at the feudal age for ages while Tex had already reached the castle age and beyond! Advance quickly, build those catapualt thingies and blow his castles to bits.

Wait wait... am I off by an hour? I'm in Central, not Eastern... I can't stay up till 3AM to do this. I planned on beating anyone who showed up in 30 minutes and getting to bed.

It's cool, I can start earlier. It's a Sunday after all. How about 6PM GMT? That would make it 1 AM over at your end?

No. The US is BEHIND Europe. Not ahead. Behind. Get it? 8 PM UK is 9 PM my time. And it's 2 PM your time. 3 PM EST. That's afternoon. Right after you had lunch. No need to stay up late.

    ;)

Edit: I may be off by an hour, IIRC. Don't know about wintertime.

 You're right, you definately saved us both some time.

So 6pm or 8pm your time is fine with me, 8pm is actually better. Let me know, I'll meet you in wordforge chat. Just for clarification, what time is it there right now, I'll check the post time later and do the math. It is 10:52am here as I post this.

I have AOE 3 (I like it ), and might be able to play somebody tonight around or after midnight central.

I'll see if I can find my AOK disc too. No expansion.

Hell, you can get both now for <$20. I should just do that.
