who the fuck keeps artillery simulators around the house? Granted I've accidentally taken home a few M16 rounds or "remove before flight" aircraft pins a time or two, but I think I would notice an artillery simulator.

Looks like the bomber self destructed when the police caught up with him. They also say he was white so the Muslim possibility is lower and the alt right better get their excuses ready because it is looking like it might be another home grown wacko. Waiting for real confirmation on that.

I've known of people taking military ordnance home as souvenirs. Back when I lived in Texarkana, a worker at the nearby Army munitions depot took home a live grenade. He had it out one day with his friends and they started tossing it around like a football. When it detonated it blew out windows in three separate apartment buildings facing the park they were in. It's a miracle no one was killed.

Got a .50 cal round and a 37mm projectile fro a P-39's nose cannon that Dad brought home. Both are demilled duds. Also got a .50 cal round that was converted to a cigarrette lighter! :lol

Where are you getting three? The reports I have seen were two black families, a Latino family, two white bicyclists, and a FedEx package sorter who was unnamed.

Like I said, it may very well end up as some racist. It will be interesting to find out how this guy learned to be a bomb maker. Did he learn it on the internet? Is he in a militia group? Is he just a crazy Ted Kazinski type?

So many questions yet no info on motive yet. If he did have political motives then he was a terrorist hands down. If he was just a loony out to harm others without political motives then he wasn't (just a P.O.S. criminal). So many questions and so few answers so far.

That makes finding answers harder. Maybe they can talk to people who knew him or go through his internet history or maybe he wrote some sort of manifesto?

When they do identify the motive then authorities need to review how he became such a killer and figure out ways to reduce the likelihood of other young fools doing the same.
