A post notice unaccountably turned up in my e-mail today like a long-lost message from the Voyager probe. I haven't posted here for well over six years, precisely the period that has coughed up episodes of mass hysteria in the Western world far greater than anything I'd previously seen in over six decades. I refer, of course, to Trump's presidency, Russiagate, Covid & the Ukraine war. It's interesting to view my take on things when I posted here back then. My values haven't changed, but the naked manipulation of public opinion we've seen from 2015 has taken on new proportions, & obliged me to harden my views in many respects.
