This is cruel and unusual punishment at it's worse.

LOL...I knew this would be posted here as soon as I saw it.

Yeah, we have a Chinese girle I work with who likes Hello Kitty...to the point she stuck a Hello Kitty sticker on our boss' hard hat...it's funnier becuase my boss tends to be the blustery UA type...minus the drama queen and complete lack of substance.

You could show her this one but I doubt she'd like it.

So, what would be a decent punishment for, say, cops who put harmless girls in chokeholds, or raid the wrong house and then plant illegal drugs, or gang up and shoot peaceful people protesting totalitarianism with rubber bullets and then laugh about it?

paid suspension

Sounds fair to me. If you're employed to uphold the law and you misbehave, a lttle humiliation might go a long way toward straightening you out.
