I've only had a few N/A brews of any kind since going on the wagon post bariatric surgery and non of them are worth the trouble. There's always hope for future developments. The only good thing about them is that they give me something to hold in my hand(s) and since they taste like...like...well they don't taste very good I drink them very slowly.

I gathered that was the big flavor killer with most N/A's. Worth a shot. At the risk of TMI, the problem with gastric sleeve surgery is that your stomach doesn't have the volume it needs to process alcohol, so you immediately get drunk on consumption. I always felt like getting there was half the fun. Anyway, I'll give it a go and let you know what I think.

They now make non-alcoholic liquor (it's technically called a distillate). I've not tried that particular one, but I found bottles of another brand that was aimed at whisky drinkers at Big Lots. I can't remember the name of it, but it had a flavor similar to Bushmills. The next time I went to Big Lots they were out of it, and when I looked it up on Amazon, it was the same price (or more) as a bottle of Bushmills. If I'm going to pay that much for a drink, I want a buzz from it.
