The beach was actually closed to the public but governor lard ass doesn't think the rules apply to him.

He's a lame duck at this point. He didn't care before, and now he REALLY doesn't care.

Yeah, I'm seeing this argument around social media. Who exactly is supposed to run the public beaches and parks, if not the government?

And if they're not public, how do we stop the rich from monopolizing their use?

Neighborhood associations, charities, non profits.

Before we start venturing into Federal Retard territory I feel it necessary to remind people that all beaches are public. It's been established though hundreds of years of common law that up to high tide mark everything is public.

What we are discussing is not beaches but beach access. Two very different things.
