What a load, everybody knows reporters of the news are completely objective. Don't believe me? Just ask Dan Rather.
Considering that most of the media (not all, but the majority) are liberal, this is to be expected. I'm sure McCain's people anticipated this, and have plans for countering.
The funny thing about the media is that many of the members will claim to be independent. Yet, the manner in which they cover certain people and certain events contradict that so called independence.
The very notion that media can be independent is flawed. Those sections of the media who are against the Republican Party ought to be congratulated for it. It's a pity that they can't be against the Democrats as well.

They are just reporting what people want to watch, as always. It's all about ratings, not some clandestine plan to make one candidate win.
Ah, but if that were the case, wouldn't it make sense to try and handicap the race to keep things close (and therefore more interesting)? Unless, of course, they know something they're not telling us. Maybe McCain is actually doing a lot better than they want us to believe. Shoot, if that's the case, in a couple months we're gonna have to send Tamar off to scour the barking moonbat sites to ensure Dendronica hasn't snuffed himself.
Some people also think Obama swore his oath on the Koran, that he's a Muslim sleeper agent and that he and his wife do terrorist fist-jabs. Some people are stupid.
That is what they are doing. Recent polls showing the race tightening, for example, come from sampling equal numbers of Republicans and Democrats. That's not a valid sample if we want to know who is most favored at the moment. But it is a very valid sample if we want to know that most Republicans will vote for McCain and most Democrats will vote for Obama. Useless as a predictor, but good for the news cycle.
