Move to WF Labs? At any rate, I was reading... shoot... one of the science magazines. There was an article about how, in cases of cardiac arrest, it's not the loss of oxygen that kills you - your cells in fact enter a sort of low-metabolism state for about 45 minutes before starting to die off. But when the oxygen flow is restarted, it causes them to go crazy and they die in a few hours. The next thing they're looking at is how to reintroduce oxygen in such a way that that doesn't happen.
Obviously they need to initiate a [-]reeducation[/-] outreach program to teach cells not only the dangers of abusing oxygen but also proper and healthful patterns of oxygen-related behavior and consumption.
