Yeah, it looks like he's responsible for a lot of weird artsy stuff, not big generic crowd pleasing summer tentpole films. But I suppose Star Wars, Pixar, and Marvel have that covered? I wonder how many risks they'll actually let him take.
Also, remember when Paul Dano said that playing a bad guy like the Riddler in the latest Batman movie really messed with his head? Dude never complained about whipping slaves and saying all those slurs while filming 12 Years A Slave.
