Is that a wooded cover on that first one? Man, that looks nice. The other ones, tho . . . I don't care for the ones with the metal doo-dad on the cover that you're supposed to wrap the leather thong around. Eh.
I have a moleskin one, that fits in my back pocket perfectly. That's where I write down reminders, random ideas and thoughts, and the beginnings of all my writings. Then if I feel like I can add more to it and go somewhere with it, I have a notebook here at my apartment that was handmade in Indiana. It's beautiful. But the small notebooks work really well for me, because I have really small handwriting.
I'd love one, but the cost is high, and I use three ring binders for my BoS, since I keep my notes on the computer. Now, if I could figure out a way to make Dragon's Blood ink work in my printer, I'd truly be good to go.
Kinda of new here, and I know this thread is a couple of weeks old, but I had to jump in. I'm another one of those blank book addicts, yet anything I write goes into a plain spiral bound notebook. Thankfully I haven't bought a new blank book in a long time but every time I go to the bookstore, I have to look through them. They call to me.
I've finally worked out how to fill my books. Firstly, I leave the first few pages blank. So, when it's written in, it won't show. Then, I've learnt to stop allocating uses for the book. Otherwise, a half a page of story idea, with a few pages of character details that trails off leads to a blank book, I just can't write anything else in it, if it's not related. Now, my books have themes. And as they fill up, I put the most important bits at the front, like a book cover, so it's not opening with a scrawled mess of embarassing brainfart. Works for me.
The Blank Books call to me as well. Tamar got one for me hand made by women from India working for financial independence. I can't bear to mar it!
