As for Paladin, if we do need a mod, he'd be my first choice. However, he needs to, you know, actually post in this thread since he does have access to this room.

No offense to faisent, but does the gallery really need it's own moderator? I don't think faisent ever really had to do anything before.

Depends on how you look at it. We do want someone able to get rid of really offensive images (say tubgirl pics...) and Nick and I have talked about user groups and limits. Biggest concern I see is disk space, but I think we've got built in safeguards against that since we're going to limit both the amount of images someone can post and their size, but if it gets used alot we're going to want to have someone around to purge if needed.

Quite honestly the stuff I wanted to do before was unable to be done based on the tools I had, though I did have very few requests. This gallery is much more user friendly from what I can tell and should require less input except to keep out spam and make sure nobody abuses it.

Here's what Nick and I discussed, though all the technical aspects he implemented.

250 posts = 50 images @ 500k max
1000 posts = 150 images @ 500k max
Special group (ie. people like Mrs A who is likely to post many images in the WR) = unlimited images @ 500k max, though subject to purge if disk space becomes an issue.

I think that we should be a little loose with those categories; but requests should come from the individual (I remember Cheekymonkey requesting and getting her own gallery under the old system and a handful of requests for mass deletions).

Definitely not really a "full time" job to mod the gallery; unless it really takes off - the main benefit to a moderator would be a single POC for questions and concerns, which could quite easily be one of the tech admins, though I'm willing to do it.
