It's great that they've given it to another Christian.

Absolutely. Best Literature Nobel in many years.

My initial instinct was to object, but then I thought, no, Dylan's lyrics have been hugely influential. And, truthfully, how many Nobel Prize in Literature winners can really say that?

Is this the first time they've given it to a musician?

Yes. They even mentioned this in the announcement, that it was the first time somebody primarily known as a musician had received the honor.

Yeah well social media can lick my balls.

Has anybody read vol. 1 of his autobiography, Chronicle?

It's beautiful, his descriptions of New York City, the Village, and how to be a better songwriter, he was going to have to change himself as a person from the inside out.

It was wonderful stuff.

That was my initial thought too, but I came to the same conclusion.
