If you could live anywhere where would it be?

What would your ideal living arrangement be? Living alone? With a partner? With partners? With roommates? In a duplex/triplex w/friends and/or partners, etc.

Sorry. Rocky suddenly wanted my complete and undivided attention.

That’s a tossup. Either Belgium or living in a converted Skokie in the American southwest moving from one BLM site to the nest.

Option B from above with only one other person - guess who that other person would be.

Wait. No. I wish to change my answer. I really want to live on The Ghost. I’d totally steal Kanan from Hera.

Do you spend the majority of your time living in the moment, thinking about the past, or planning for the future?

Oooh, good question. I think… living in the moment. I tend to let things in the past go as there’s nothing I can do about it. Depending on what “it” is. I do spend too much time thinking what a horrible parent I am. Not that either of my boys would say so, but they are very sweet boys and wouldn’t say anything like that. Probably cuz they don’t want to deal with me crying afterwards. Cuz I totally would. I don’t really spend a lot of time thinking of the future. Except daydreaming of what I hope it would be like, but most likely would not. Like aliens invading or Yosemite erupting or … whatever. Living in a Fallout 4 world. So … , yea, most of my time is spent living in the moment.

I just ran into my regular waitress from my usual early breakfast place shitfaced drunk at my usual late breakfast place. (Sometimes I need bacon after 4pm.)

    Me: You okay?

Her: Yeah... Out drinking for a friend that just died.

    Me: Oh! I'm sorry.

    Her: Nah... It's good they're dead. Y'know? Some people it's like... I'm glad they're dead. :)

I’ve always thought the best superpower to have would be a force field surrounding my body.

It’s weird isn’t it? When someone dies and everyone wants to be … supportive. I’m more of a solitary person especially when it comes to dealing with “sad” things in life. Like … I hate telling coworkers that my favorite brother died. Or when I left my ex-husband…. I take pity/compassion much like I take compliments. Shrug them off and change the subject.

    Anyway, sorry your fiend died.

Oh no, it was the waitresses friend. I never met the deceased as far as I know.

I remember when my mother passed away, my coworkers kept trying to comfort me and I kept cracking dark jokes. "It's my fault she died, I told her to act her age." They looked so angry that anyone would joke about my mom dying, but they couldn't say shit because I was the one doing it. :walz:

The only issue I had with garamet was that she would send me long PMs and act like we were best friends, then turn around and say nasty things to me on the board. Mostly at Trekbbs. By the time I started posting here, she had mostly stopped with the PMs. Mostly.

misfit superheroes... not sure who carries it in the US, but it has Brendan Frasier and Alan Tudyk, so gets hilarious at times.

Did you ever watch Stargate: Atlantis. Your response and the side effect clause made me think of Rodney getting the forcefield around his body.
