And he wasn't even there, but he stayed up all night tweetlying about it anyway: http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/19/us/mike-pence-hamilton.html Will no one give Donnie his "safe space?"
Yeah, like the disappointment I felt when Hillary won 350 electoral votes because Trump was a racist.
The libs and Dems are never going to live this election down Not even if they manage to elect Elizabeth Warren president in 2020 Of course that isn't going to happen either,....
For many of them, their world was shattered. They cannot mentally reconcile the outcome of the election with what they believed in with all their hearts.
This is a combination of meaningless trump news and piss poor trolling. Just reeks of desperation. Kind of sad actually. The meltdown continues.
Assume much? I never anything about the theater. I was merely concerned for your health and wanted you to take it easy. The election has made you angry and stressed out; such intense, negative emotions will jeopardize your health.
I wonder if we've had presidents this thin-skinned and insecure before, but we just didn't know it because they didn't have Twitter. Maybe Nixon. But I doubt it.
"They" say lots of things, most of it obvious fabricated bullshit. Trump's pathetic insecurity is in full view on his own Twitter account.
It's another illustration that Trump is a whiny piece of shit, but there are so many out there. I'm more interested in discussing the Trump U fraud, his AG pick's argument that unwanted groping is not assault, his appointment of a white nationalist to his top political post, and his desire to create a registry of Moslem citizens.
Evidence? Yeah, didn't think so. Expressing an opinion that doesn't conform to the Sore Winners' is "meltdown" now. I see. Did Donnie promise to continue to devalue the US dollar vs yours? I wouldn't buy that for a dollar.
Would that be the same history where a staunch Democrat actor shot Republican Abraham Lincoln in the back of the head?
Yes, back when the Republicans actually stood for some noble things. How far the mighty have fallen...
They didn't fall. The party of perpetual race-based human slavery just figured that they could offer blacks extra helpings of grits to get them back on the plantation.
If Trump can get this worked up about his VP being addressed in, frankly, a very respectful manner by some people who just happen to disagree with him (in fact, they stopped the audience from booing him), then how will he handle world diplomacy? The man has the emotional control of a preschooler.
No, it was an extremely disrespectful manner. It even showed gross disrespect to the audience who paid a lot of money to see a play.
By the way, this is what the actor said: "You know, we have a guest in the audience this evening. And Vice President-elect Pence, I see you walking out, but I hope you will hear us just a few more moments. There’s nothing to boo here, ladies and gentlemen. There’s nothing to boo here. We’re all here sharing a story of love. We have a message for you, sir. We hope that you will hear us out. ... “Vice President-elect Pence, we welcome you, and we truly thank you for joining us here at ‘Hamilton: An American Musical.’ We really do. We, sir, we are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights, sir. But we truly hope this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and work on behalf of all of us. All of us. Again, we truly thank you truly for seeing this show, this wonderful American story told by a diverse group of men and women of different colors, creeds and orientations.” So shockingly disrespectful! Ah may faint!
Meanwhile, as far as I can tell, Mike Pence hasn't said a word about it. Possibly because he's, y'know, a grownup.
