BTD6 contested territory.

I know some people have mentioned they play this game. I am looking to see if anyone wants to join and be semi active on the contested territory. I end up kicking a lot of ass because I enjoy it, but because of the way the game goes it scares off others like me. I am looking to see if anyone wants to scrape up the easy tiles and sucks up easy gains for their account, or if you are a really good player competes with me for number one.

I win a lot of the competitions on my own without any other player playing. If I get in with someone who is a decent player they normally want to be number one, but I am a little overwhelming with the points I get. If I could get a lower level to get the smaller squares to build up some extra points it would put the team at an advantage because we normally end up facing teams with 1 member who plays the game. second place is worth good monkey cash, XP, and insta monkeys.

I would either have you join the public guild I am in or form another guild

Oh well, no interest so I finally started a second account and figured I could do pretty decent with 2 as long as I got some dead weight to sign up because the game lets you attack more based on inactive players. So I used some extra monkey money to do this. I made the guild public.

Every time I joined someone else's guild there were 3 maybe four players who fought and earned points. That would dwindle down to me with 14 other inactive people who never did anything.

So I start my own up and I guess my high level and achievements attracted people? I got nine active members kicking ass on the first day and booted all the non-scoring members that night only to have the roster filled to 15 with scoring members in 2 days. They conquered the fucking board. I have never seen that activity before in a public team that was not organized and created by players. They do not set things up so the leader can tell others what to do or encourage them in game.

I am a BTD fucking goddess.

187th globally with 14 hours left. I have not even had to flex and was not prepared for an actual attempt at this rank. I hope these people stay on and the next game is not during momocon.

180th place in the end. I get the feeling like next time things are going to get a lot harder.

OK so it has been a couple of months and I love NinjaKiwi game design. So they release this part of BTD 6 which is the multiplayer player vs player take territory contest that happens every few weeks. They let you make teams public or private. So like I said I made this public team.

Some players get all excited about the week's contested territory, and then drop it. BTD doesn't let the people who create the teams say anything to the players. You cannot strategize at all. The only thing you can do is kick people off the team during the event and then another spot opens and the current people who are searching for a game can come in and join. I thought this was stupid at first, but you can customize your team banners and media through in game funding which shows up on the list of teams available. So you have these banners for your team that tell the people searching here is an active team looking for players spending a lot of their points earned from competition to show you where to join in.

It is this really cool way to keep older players active in a competition where they give you different challenges to take territory, and it lets you sort of fund your own level of activity to get on the leaderboards which are grouped in stages.

So now if you are good at the game you can wave your banner around and say come over here and have a campaign match with my team of active heroes and you are real time managing points and players and you cannot talk to anyone directly in the game so if you are not scoring points and the active team owner notices and wants to kick you for some hungry want it now younger or more there players that is cool. If you want to take a break you are not killing the team by doing so because you can get kicked and look up the team later to join if you liked the leadership or banners.

It offers a huge real time PVP experience without all the trash talk.

OMG I have had a blast playing this weeks WF contested territory. I am totally not masturbating. There are other players involved I swear. This has been an epic battle that no one but my enemies will know!

Oh you mean for their tears. You have to clarify for me and my mind.

OK looks like this new battle will be interesting. So far the other sides are almost a no show. There are a bunch of big point areas I have taken in the opening which will be gaining big points. If no one is competing numerically I can run up score with my main account taking the big point areas for the longest time. With a good start I just need to maintain a constant attack with my main and scor the max points I can to be high on the individual leader board. If no one is competing that will be good.

OMG the way they have refined the way contested territory works is awesome. In order to get medals you have to sign up now, so the dead teams that have been forgotten do not show up on maps anymore unless someone actually signs them in and does not show up. You can play non ranked and still get prizes and then you get a lot of dead teams that do nothing so you can just rack up points without challenge.

Now all the people who were waiting for an easy week of battles so they could get leader badges are fucked because they are now stuck in competition. This also thins out the numbers and top 1 percent spaces. So now to earn a top one percent space means you got a lot of points on a map with multiple agressive active teams.

It is also just new enough that you can telol the people whio have multi boxed and set up their main account to make high points, but don't have actual skills hbecause you can see your opponents game accomplishments. So if they doi not have a lot of CHIMPS, race, or boss battle badges you know where rtheir weaknesses lie, and you normally only have a couple of players per team to reserch for the weak.

There are six teamns per board including yourself. This week I noticed three of the teams that were actually fighting had some people who had scored multiple top one percent badges. They also had a bunch of global race top p1 percent winners. That means the timed squares, whichj I am not great at, would be hard to hold for me.

So I have done my normal strategy of branch out asa wide as possible to get near every high point tile. Not everyone does this sort of thing. This is important. If you do not clean your opponent out of the border of a tile they can attack it. There arwe six border territories to most tiles, and you have to read the map for value and placement. I am very strategy oriented. Each account gets four opening attacks in the first 24 hours, and then they get ten every day after that. So you can onbly take ten tiles, and those tiles can be flipped losing your 24 hours of points over time. The tiles stay in your possesion for an extra 24 hours without earning points if no one clears them making it so you can plant seeds for 48 hours that people have to waste attacks clearing or else you can flip their tiles.

If you branch out all over the board there ends up being a few non combative areas you can just capture a high point tile which no one can flip. If you do not spread out you cannot stop the other guys from just getting these points and have to rely on the other teams in the area to hammer them. That is not reliable. I use two accounts to branch out to have seeda in every area of the field. This allows my teammates who I cannot talk to to easily touch whatever they want to and play to their strengths. I have also gotten a few active medium level players who seem to reliably play every week so I am not stuck with my two accounts as being the only scoring players. One of the guys loves to take relic tiles which suck on pojnts, but give everyone on the team advantages on their maps. He can take all those tiles he wants, and I do not have to waste my high point scoring attacks on them.

Here comes the only problem with the game scoring. There is no reward fopr assists as far as I can see. I would love to encourage my guy to do these things he likes to do and give some of my rewards to him because he does not score high on any of the rewards boards, and all he would get is placement badges, but I can't. I just hope the game shovels prizes on him for being on the top team locally and he is happy.

Oh yeah, I am in a bit of downtime right now as this whole thing works within my non hectic schedule so it gets me out of bed, and I even exercise as soime of the autoplay time happens.

Wow, this was a fun week of battle. I learned a few things. A dart monkey can do pretty well into the 40s if lead isn't a problem at 024. The attempts to undercut another player's score make you really think about the rounds and how much you can leak without a problem.

I fucking hate time tiles. That is like the han solo just send shit at me as fast as you can and I will keep the fuck up. The people who design the challenges know the fucking game like a motherfucker. You better not get to clicky. God damn, placement, timing, and everything has to be right to get the minimums.

My major opponent this week was two different teams. One of them only had three players and one was not playing. They were really hard but they forgot one point. If you do not have a full roster you don't get a lot of extra tickets from the one guy that isn't playing. At least let some dead idiots on your team so you get more chances to attack after the first 24 hours goes by and their unused chance get given to everyone else.

Nope, fucker was following me right along and beating me on the time squares right after I took them which would have been great for points, but I wasted his attacks with my second account and capping right before the renew so he just ran out of chances. Then I could flip anything I wanted for long periods of time without him undermining my caps and taking them from me. Not only that I was able to put up buffer tiles on the high point ones limiting his ability to take them.

And then in comes the third really competative team. They have two players who know what they are doing and are backed up by dead weight generating tickets for them. Too bad for them I have already recruited soime mid level active players. I can spot one player's strategy and they seem to have decent skills. They took some PITA tiles from me and forced me to really tighten up my game to keep them. I am looking at their team and it has a captain who is not doing a thing. So I sent an invite to my team to their power player, and maybe I will invite the other one too. If I had two more high point grabbing motherfuckers on the team we would make the top 100 on a competitive board. I want a top 100 team badge to go along with the banner we are earning up for.

At any rate my main will get first place in the territory despite the constant flipping by the other teams top player. Great dude, I noticed you were coming in and just let you use up my alt's captures so a couple hours later when the score loosened slightly I come in and take a whole bunch of high point tiles. Serves them right for trying to attack me while I slept.

So the new battle started today. I wake up and it is about 12 hours into the competition when I log on and do my best Vageta impression.

Their score is over 9000, that's impossible.

Oh well, more time for me and the gays on thanksgiving.
