I saw the Coen bros. latest movie today - pretty, pretty good, and easily the funniest thing I've seen in theaters since Superbad or Knocked up. Malkovich was crazy and Brad Pitt was absolutely fucking hilarious as an idiot personal trainer. Anyone else plan on seeing this? It's worth a shot if you're looking to go to the theater.

It was OK. Not the best Coen Bros. by far. Still a fair Coen movie is better than most.

None of the characters had the charm that I've come to expect from the Coens. They were all pretty cold and stupid. Kinda like real life.

I laughed a lot more at Tropic Thunder. More even before the movie started...

What about the previews? Olver Stone "W"? Frost:Nixon? What's up with that?

The Nixon preview didn't make any sense to me, but I thought "W" looked good.

Saw it with the wife today. Great movie, but not as laugh-out-loud funny as I'd been led to expect, although there was plenty of that.

Oh, and in case you didn't notice, there WAS a moral to the story:
