The primary cause of the fire is the effects of burning fossil fuels on the biosphere. That isn't irrelevant to the topic of the fire, nor does talking about it constitute "rambling", or whatever other excuse you want to use to justify why you choose to address largely inconsequential secondary events rather than that very large elephant in the room.
