Usually, I'm the target for the people around me to say mean things to me in a humorous way since they're just kidding in public.

The thing is i don't respond easily. All i think in my mind is that they're fools to show their dark side. Well, not much of a dark side though let's just go to the point.

I want them to show it more. I wanna know their limits. How low can they go? What kind of a terrible people they actually are? Without me interrupting them at all. Which is respectful.

What do you think about this whole situation?

BTW, I'm not afraid of anyone. If my family is hurt by someone then he/she gets trouble. Lay it on me.

I'm tempted to say "obvious Castle post" but would really rather be proven wrong. :jayzus:

Review Vttrendzzy's posts before playing the Castle card. He's legitimate if a bit high (3AM posting?). Maybe Tasvir's distant cousin?

Vtrendzzy, If you want to explore your inner god, may I recommend the red room. We will gladly lay it on :).

The Green Room is the "shallow end" of the swimming pool. Big boys dive head first drunk
wearing Speedos into the deep end of the Red Room.

It sounds like this is really bothering you so could you give us an example of what we are talking about here? I ask because there is a whole spectrum from gentle ribbing to over the top insults and how to respond correctly depends on what you are facing.

Have you read his posts? He isn't "new" any more than I am. This is a post of a troubled soul seeking enlightenment. Don't you do any pro bono work?

Or it's a very long con. I'm good with it either way.

I know why not red room. I didn't want to get insulted, period. I'm actually going thru that everyday and it's lowering my confidence day by day.
I'm not a fool for sure. Just a guy who wants to improve English language.

Anyway, I thought maybe this was going to be a gnani yoga thing, though in that case the "I am God" would have been stated more definitively. :)

    @Vtrendzzy:

I'm sorry that this is a bit of a thread jacking, but we don't have a lot of Indian posters, and I thought you might be able to help us straighten out an argument from a few weeks ago. Do you think a non-East Indian English speaker could pull off an Indian English dialect, accent, annunciation, etc., in such an accurate way as to fool somebody who actually lives in India? The pretender in this case does not have any particular experience with any of the above, so they are working entirely from information gleaned by the conversation they are in.

Gul, i understand you a bit. I must have conversation here rather than just reading.

Well, I'm lost. I'm so much confused lately that i can't even choose what's good for me. I used to be active in life. Now i feel unexcited. I've no schedule.
I'm here just to learn English. My dream is to be a rapper. Like Eminem. But keeping up to that isn't easy for me.
I'm sorry if i haven't followed the unwritten rules of wordforge. It's like I'm falling and expecting all of you here to catch me.

Gul was asking about English speaking Indians. If they can sense an American speaking English with a phony Indian accent. It involves another member here who claimed to have deceived an Indian telemarketer, by pretending to call him back from his own office in India. A little complicated. That member was John Castle who we have banished to the netherworld.

El Chup is a nice person from Great Britain. But he is a lawyer. He thought you might be John Castle come back to haunt us.

Dayton3 is a well known American Rapper that posts here. He might be able to help with words. What story would you tell?

    I was joking about Dayton.

Sound like classic depression. There's no easy cure, unfortunately, but it's not hopeless either, no matter how much it may feel that way sometimes. Talking about it helps, even if only here. Might I suggest a private forum we have called the Blue Room? That would be the proper place for discussions of a highly personal nature.

Ok, now I'm curious. What is the hip-hop scene like in India?

I'll check out the blue room later.

The scene of rap music in India isn't that great. You must've heard about Honey Singh. Indians think he's a rapper but according to me he's not.

Good examples of rappers from India are Bohemia, Raftaar. You should check them out to get the idea of rap music.

    I follow Eminem.

    This is Raftaar.

I don't listen to Bohemia that much so a bit hard for me to suggest you his songs.
