I'm not sad, but I'm not glad either. Maybe when 9/11 was fresh and raw, I would have wished ill on everyone who did dumb antics that made it feel worse. Its been too long. I can't hold on to hate this far out.
This will help, he was a trumpanzee. He was also the big name in the kick the ass of the dixie chicks movement. He wasn't political, but that was just what he said after repeatedly supporting politicians. Though he did seem to support Obama before he went full on trumpanzee. Sounds a lot like he would say anything to keep in good with who he thought was buying his records. Pretty solid waffle if you ask me. but he did write an anthem for red solo cups which is fun to sing when you are drunk.Just don't make any friends at the bar over singing the song.
Here's a factoid I learned today - will make MAGA heads at least swell up in pain if not explode: Toby Kieth played a passing but important role in the career start of Taylor Swift. His label facilitated her signing with the label she ended up with and he still owns (owned) a minority share in that label and stated in 2016 that he made a LOT of money off of her career
